Imagine Akron 2025

A visionary collaboration requested by Mayor Plusquellic and implemented by the citizens of the City of Akron, Ohio inspired interest in building places to live, work, and play in and about Downtown Akron.

A major goal of Imagine Akron is “Before 2025, Akron will be a city where people chose to live because of the quality and diversity of housing options. Urban dwellers will find first class housing both downtown and in neighborhoods.”


The Charter of the New Urbanism


This Charter provides traditional neighborhood design principals for creation of great places.
